e-Jagriti Portal: Overview

e-Jagriti (e-jagriti.gov.in) is the Government of India's official online platform for filing and tracking consumer cases before Consumer Commissions. It is run by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and the help documents are prepared by the National Informatics Centre (NIC). With e-Jagriti, a consumer can file a complaint against a seller, service provider, insurer or company from home, pay the fee online, attend virtual hearings and track the case, without visiting the commission office again and again.

The portal was launched on 1 January 2025. In June 2026 it won the Silver Award at the National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG) 2026, given by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
