Expected score = (Correct answers × 1) − (Wrong answers × 0.25)
For example, 150 correct and 30 wrong gives 150 − 7.5 = 142.5 marks.
Last Year's Cut-Off for Reference
In the previous cycle, the General (UR) cut-off for Paper-I was reported at 119.25. The 2026 cut-off will depend on vacancies, the number of candidates and the difficulty of the paper, so treat last year's figure only as a rough guide.
