How to Check the Answer Key
- Go to rrb.indianrailways.gov.in or your regional RRB website. The key itself opens on the RRB exam portal.
- Click the CEN 07/2025 (NTPC Undergraduate) answer key or objection tracker link.
- Log in with your Registration Number as the username and Date of Birth as the password, plus the captcha.
- View and download your question paper, marked responses and the key's answers.
How to Calculate Your Score
The response sheet does not show marks or rank. Calculate it yourself:
- +1 mark for each correct answer
- −1/3 mark for each wrong answer
- CBT-2 has 120 questions for 120 marks
Remember that selection is decided on normalised marks, not raw marks, because the exam runs across shifts. Your calculated raw score is only an indicator.
Objection Window: What to Expect
The RRBs have not announced the window for the Undergraduate CBT-2. For reference, in the Graduate-level CBT-2 of the same recruitment year:
- The key was released on 15 July 2026
- The objection window ran from 15 July at 4:00 PM to 22 July 2026 at 11:55 PM, about seven days
- The fee was ₹50 per question, refunded where the objection was found valid, after deduction of applicable bank charges
Expect a similar structure for the Undergraduate paper, but treat the dates and fee as unconfirmed until the official notice appears.
Tip: objections succeed when they cite a verifiable source. Attach a scanned page from a standard textbook or an authoritative reference rather than writing an explanation alone.
What Comes Next
- Final answer key after objections are examined
- CBT-2 result with zone-wise and category-wise cut-offs
- Typing Skill Test, for Junior Clerk cum Typist and Accounts Clerk cum Typist posts
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
All these dates are pending. Candidates applying for the typist posts should begin typing practice now: the skill test requires a prescribed speed in English or Hindi on a computer, and it is qualifying, so failing it ends the candidature regardless of your CBT score.
Cut-Off
No cut-off exists yet for CEN 07/2025 CBT-2. RRBs publish cut-offs zone-wise and category-wise only with the result. Ignore any cut-off table circulating before that.
