Meghalaya RIPANS Stipend/Book Grant Notice 2026

The Directorate of Health Services Medical Education & Research (DME), Government of Meghalaya, has issued a notice (No. DHSME&R/Para-Med/Stipend/11/2026/3197 dated 15 May 2026) informing students who applied for the Stipend/Book Grant for B.Pharm, B.Sc MLT, B.Sc RIT, B.Sc OPT and B.Sc RICI courses at RIPANS, Aizawl that the grant has been sanctioned by the Health & Family Welfare Department. Listed students can collect it from Room No. 510, DME office, Shillong, with effect from 15 June 2026. This article explains the eligible batches, collection schedule and documents required.

Who Can Collect

The notice is addressed to the students who applied for the Stipend/Book Grant for B.Pharm, B.Sc MLT, B.Sc RIT, B.Sc OPT and B.Sc RICI courses (batches 2018-19 to 2023-24) from the Regional Institute of Paramedical & Nursing Sciences (RIPANS), Aizawl. The sanction has been released by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Meghalaya.

A total of 32 students are listed in the notice and are directed to collect the grant. The course-wise and batch-wise spread of the listed students is as follows (individual names of beneficiaries have been withheld here for privacy; they are available in the official notice):

  • B.Pharm - 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24
  • B.Sc MLT - 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24

Documents Required for Collection

  • Students collecting in person: College ID along with a Revenue Stamp of Rs 1.
  • Parents collecting on behalf of a student: An authorisation letter, the student's College ID, a Revenue Stamp of Rs 1, and a Completion Certificate (for those who have already completed their course).

How to Collect

Listed students are directed to collect the stipend/book grant from Room No. 510 at the office of the Directorate of Health Services Medical Education & Research (DME), Meghalaya, Laitumkhrah Health Complex (Top Floor), Shillong, with effect from 15 June 2026 onwards, between 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM, carrying the documents listed above.
