Eligibility
General Scholarship: Students who passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2023-24, 2024-25 or 2025-26 with at least 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) and have taken admission in the first year of a course in 2026-27.
Special Scholarship: Students who passed Class 10 with at least 60% marks and are studying in Class 11–12, a diploma or a vocational course.
Income: Annual family income from all sources should not exceed ₹4,50,000.
Not eligible: Postgraduate courses (except integrated courses), distance, part-time or open-learning courses, CA/CS/ICMAI courses, and students already getting a scholarship from a non-government source. Government scholarship holders can apply.
Selection and Renewal
Selection is on merit based on Class 12 (or Class 10 for the special scholarship) marks. If marks are tied, students with lower family income get preference. To keep receiving the scholarship, students must pass every year with at least 55% in medical and engineering courses and 50% in other courses.
