What is the Bihar Board 10th Pass Scholarship 2026?

The Bihar Board 10th Pass Scholarship 2026 is a financial-support scheme of the Government of Bihar for students who passed the Class 10 (Matric) examination from the Bihar School Examination Board. Students who clear the examination with a 1st Division or an eligible 2nd Division receive a one-time scholarship amount through DBT, to help them continue their higher education without financial burden.

Scholarship Amount Details

The amount depends on the division in which the student passed:

- 1st Division - Rs.10,000. Available to students of all categories, both boys and girls.

- 2nd Division - Rs.8,000. Available only to SC (Scheduled Caste) and ST (Scheduled Tribe) students. Students from other categories are not eligible for the 2nd Division scholarship.

The amount is credited directly to the student's own bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
